Ailing Eagle Goes to Raptor Center for Rehab

This was a same-day story. While reviewing the Sitka police report Sandy Paulson reads each morning, I saw a call about an injured eagle and followed up with the Raptor Center. What I found became a surprisingly sweet and fascinating story, not just about one bald eagle, but about this time of year and the work the Raptor Center does behind the scenes. The story ended up being picked up by Juneau Independent.
